The original idea was to add a little more to Merryl's basic appearance, but as it progressed, it also became an attempt to imitate the stylization characters are given in the Super Smash Bros video game (ie, more detail, a slightly more realistic appearance, ect). This is also a throwback to some SSB stylized character drawings I had made years ago before I came to Jaxpad or even VCL (of course those were incredible crude in comparisson).
