With the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl this year, I decided to create a faux-update image in the style of the official SSBB website. This is a mock-up of what Merryl's character image would look like (with the exception that she would be rendered in 3D, but since I lack any 3D modeling software, I did what I could). The full "update" is currently still in progress, but will be posted when it is finished.
There are some slight adjustments from her last SSB (Melee) stylization, most notible is the "Wild Aces" text around the tattoo on her right arm, which may become part of her overall design much like the bandoleer belt from the Melee stylization has. Her shoes have also gotten a make-over, now sporting some red patches and gray soles.
